Overview (short introduction to the method):

Business breakfast is a process of sharing the best practice between colleagues. It can be big format or small format for limited participants.

Objectives:

Business breakfast aims gathering the employees and in non-formal environmental discussing of new ideas or experience or information which can be useful for all participants.

During the conversation can discuss also important questions or strategic plan. In this case the difference between this method and meeting is atmosphere of more relax and non-formal style of conversation.

Group size:

From 3 to 50 employees (in case of group more than 7 people it’s needed to divide the big group to small groups for more easier and effective discussion). The best size of group is 3-5.

Time:

from 30 to 60 minutes

Resources:

othing special, just cup of coffee and sitting places.

Expected outcomes :

This method help employees be more informed, friendly, active and creative. Also this method is suitable in team building activities. The non-formal conversation help employees share own ideas, information and develop the presentation skills.

Instructions:

Team of employees (more suitable for management team, middle management, key specialists) fix the time for meeting and set/don’t set the topic for discussion. The atmosphere of meeting is non-formal in principle. The members of a team share some interesting facts what was discovered/happened with them or anybody or any information from training or business trip. Other team members can agree or not agree, talk about own point of view, talk about own experience etc. The purpose of meeting is to share new knowledge, listen other opinions, to know each other better.

An external person can be invited to the meeting as speaker as well.
