Creativity

According to the report The Future of Jobs of the World Economic Forum released in 2016, creativity will become one of the top three skills workers will need in 2020 and further on. With the avalanche of new products, new technologies and new ways of working, workers are going to have to become more creative in order to benefit from these changes. Robots may help us get to where we want to be faster, but they can’t be as creative as humans (yet). Innovative capacity and a creative spirit are fast becoming requirements for professional and personal success in today’s world.

Most leaders are expected to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to organizational problems. However, by cultivating and utilizing the creative abilities of the whole team, the leader may facilitate emergence of even more prosperous creative ideas and new solutions to existing problems. Developing creative culture take time, but it brings significant benefits to the workplace, such as increased engagement, motivation, staff morale, collaboration, problem solving, productivity.
