Help the team to unwind and rejuvenate, allow them to reflect on their goals and aspirations, promote bonding with coworkers, reduce stress.

Expected outcomes :

With the gentle guidance of an expert in the field, relaxation experience can provide a highly effective, harmonizing experience for the team. Opportunity to connect (with oneself, colleagues, nature) will unwind and rejuvenate, increase self-awareness, feeling of trust and motivation. Learning how to manage stress on the job, can make difference on the whole workplace environment and functioning. Giving employees an outlet for stress and agitation improves the health of the organization as well as the health of inner teams.

Instructions:

When planning an off-site team experience/retreat consider: employees or colleagues’ needs and wishes, desired outcomes, available resources, logistics, budget.

Find the people to organize the retreat or plan it by yourself. Decide on the activities during the day and engage the employees or colleagues to participate in them. Collect the feedback about the retreat from the participants at the end.

Here are some ways to provide a relaxing experience:

Bodywork - visit to the spa centre, sauna ritual, tai chi, yoga, massage, kayaking, surfing etc.

Outdoor time - nature walk, stargazing, walking meditation, a picnic in the nature, walking tour of a historic area, sailing tour etc.
